This course is an intensive 3 day training seminar, which provides the participants with the practical skills and knowledge to expertly install the flex-c-ment, vertical and horizontal decorative concrete overlay design.

Our goal is to use simple step by step methods to train you to apply the Flex-c-ment overlay design and to provide you with an exciting business opportunity and to play an important part in the Irish launch of this innovative, dynamic product.

Who should attend?

This course is designed to train any interested individual on the simple principles required to competently install a flex-c-ment design, particularly those with a desire for self employment opportunities.

While a formal trade or experience in the industry is not essential, this course may be of particular interest to stone masons, plasterers, brick layers, tillers or anyone with experience in the construction industry.

Information about the Overlay System

The product is a lightweight concrete mix, which can be used to design a vast number of Flex-c-ment? objects or imitate natural stone, brick, block, marble, granite etc. Because of its adhesive

strength and low slump properties it can be applied on a wide range of surfaces i.e., wood, glass, steel, polystyrene, plastered surfaces, painted surfaces, block, brick etc.

Its flexion properties are such that it can be used where movement is expected; over timber decking, old or cracked concrete driveways, old plaster, existing structures i.e bridges, buildings, boundary walls, over plywood, plasterboard and OSB boarding [used widely on floors of new houses].

The product is so versatile it can be applied on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Its diversity is such that it can also be used to create fireplaces, headstones, wall capping, marble, tile, kitchen work tops etc.

Flex-c-ment’s designs have a proven track record of durability and success. They have been rigorously tested by chemists and have been applied in construction for over twenty five years. Whether in freezing temperatures, sweltering heat or damp conditions our overlay designs have stood the test of time.

The finished product continues to look beautiful after years of exposure to nature’s elements. The flex-c-ment design has the appropriate EN declaration of conformity and is CE marked.
